This session will be used to give me the
necessary information required to tailor a
bespoke treatment and/or rehabilitation plan for you. I will use palpation to feel for areas of pain/tenderness etc, assess your joint range of motion/mobility, muscle strength and
perform any special tests that may be appropriate.
Typical sessions entail further massage work, subjective check ins, goal planning, re-testing etc. Exercises may be prescribed if appropriate for you to complete after/in between sessions.
(One hour is usually advised for one or more problem areas or full body massage session.)
*Acupuncture/Dry needling can be added.
The use of acupuncture can be a very effective modality as part of your treatment sessions/plans. Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to promote healing and balance energy flow (Qi). Within our treatment plans it is primarily used to manage pain, but it also addresses a range of conditions, including stress, anxiety, and digestive issues.
Myofascial Cupping, an additional modality that is offered within your sessions. It is an adapted version of the ancient Eastern style Cupping. It's aimed to target the Musculo-Skeletal system using plastic cups, and vacuum suction via a hand operated vacuum pump. Cupping increases blood circulation at the point of the injury, the increased circulation reduces tension and spasms and can promote cell repair through improved blood flow.
Training sessions are carried out in a private studio/gym setting or in your home.
All of our personal training services include face to face or online sessions with tailored exercise plans which are easily accessible on our online platform, where we also regularly check in, measure your progress offering general nutrition advice.
*Train with a friend or family member, 1-2-2 sessions can be made available at no additional cost.
